The same way you would with a child (or anyone, human or animal), imo:
1) speak to them with a loving tone in your voice;
2) find out what is making them bark (or other attention seeking devices) that warrants your attention;
3) address their issues in timely ways.
Please give me three suggestions for easy to make vegan treats.
