putting in short time crops (like raspberries) If you do short term you get points for plowing and planting. All crops get 2 points for planting them. So the more often you harvest, plow and plant the faster you will level up.

Also I spent my money, for the most part on leveling up not buying stuff.

both my farms are mostly for crops not stuff

and lastly Corkey was there months before me and I did all of his harvesting and plowing, so that got me a lot of money fast.

I also wanted to catch up to Corkey and ummm, I have. LOL we are the same level now!
