Mine too! It was comfort food for her during the WWII and she always made it for me while telling me stories about the house she lived in with my great aunt while their husbands were off at war. They both had such wonderful stories of the time, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and fudge they made with what they had of war rations. I grew up hearing all about those days and they were both all smiles and laughter when they told the stories- it seemed like the happiest times of their lives.
