This cracked me up. How cute is that!!!

Most of the friends in my neighborhood were boys. But, there was this older tomboy that would play with us sometimes. Her name was Tootles, well her nickname was anyway. I was "forced" to play football and hated it. But, i would do it IF they all promised to play the Partridge Family or Lost in Space with me afterward. Sometimes they kept their promise.

So i got to tell who was was who. We would make up stories, like most of the boys would be friends of the Partridge family and come to the concerts. I always picked myself to be Tracy and would bang the tambourine but Tootles i would pick to be Keith. She looked like Keith. Very androgynous. We would sing to the records and i would swoon.

Wow. Had forgot about that memory.
