I rose late today and made a breakfast for both my son and I, which I prepared part of it last night because I knew I was not getting up early at all. We are having an Egg Souffle casserole that I made with left over pork roast, brown eggs with half and half cream, baby red potatoes, fresh basil and rosemary, and seasoned with a touch of cinnamon and a fleck or two of nutmeg, sea salt, cracked pepper and a sprinkling of shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Honey-buttered toast on the side, too.
However, we're waiting for the two apple pies I am baking in the oven because we're having apple pie served with French Vanilla Ice Cream for supper; and while we wait, I'm going to make a cup of coffee (w/ cream, honey & cinnamon) for both of us.
