*the girl who sings the 'call me maybe' song - over-saturated pre-teen pop: so not my thing.
*kid rock - not new, I know; but he's so old he's practically new, no? and I just found out he's a romney supporter.

*I can't think of any others...I listen to NPR, web-based electronica and Indie-radio so generally I'm out of touch with "new" music unless there is a specific artist or new release I intentionally seek out.
