I love this song. I used to teach in an alternative school down in New Paltz, NY. We opened every morning and every class with sharing a song or poem that everyone knew. This was a song we'd often sing when opening school in the morning. It was a two-room school house in a renovated barn in clearing in the middle of a woodsy field area. We'd meet in this huge sunny room and circle up. This song always meant an energetic day was to follow.
