An email from a very dear friend, who has an african gray parrot.
Yesterday, it fell down off its perch...as it fell..it was laughing and saying "whoops". She has no idea where she picked that up from...it made me chuckle, heartily..just imaging that bird doing such...
The bird has a ritual..and when its timeline isn't met, tends to bite the owner.
Recently, such timeline was delayed by an hour, so bird is yelling "outside"..."outside"..now...so when she finally did take bird outside, it bit her knuckle...twice in a couple days..anyway, now the bird says "No Biting"! "No Biting"! I can only imagine what it would say if it bit me..because I would have to let go with some expletives...lol...anyway, I get a kick out of her antics...
