Well, when I was with N (my only "family" experience as an adult; we lived together for ten years), we had a Christmas tradition where we gave our closest friends some cool thing out of our home that we didn't use much, and they did the same to us. It was a "recycle, rejoice" thing.

When I was a kid, my mom made these marshmallow snowmen we obsessed over till we were like in our forties and realized she had thrown them out—they were hard as rocks but we couldn't believe she'd thrown them out, LOL

My sister (I'll have to live vicariously through one of hers), used to give their first dog Mac a little doll, his "Christmas baby" that he tore apart and we would take ghoulish pictures of him doing so.

GM3 innovative ways you keep warm in winter (or cool in summer, if you don't have winter).
