1.. I dont really have a tangible sense of accomplishment for the 30 years I've been in my line of work...as in, I cant stand back hands on hips with puffed chest and say "I built that".

2.. I have to trust that in my 30 years I've made a positive contribution and a positive difference in my community.

3.. Anytime I can build, destroy, make, carve, do something "hands on" I'm all for it (that tangible sense of accomplishment thing again)

4.. I dont have a degree, but I have certificates of completion, certificates of training, certificates of instructor rating, certificates of merit, certificates of valor, certificates, certificates, certificates...

5.. Swinging a hammer is like worry beads for me, minus the occasional thumb strike. I love to build and just zen out, losing all track of time!
(tangible thingy again...)
