That is because we( the lofty Types) tend to be more dependable and our work ethics are vastly different than that of the younger generation...... Though, there are the exceptions in both generations. I have observed 2 types, I am sure there are more, but generally speaking from my own work experience. There are those that go looking for work when things are quiet. Then there are those that avoid everything and disappear when things are busy. My guess is you fall into the first group
