Great company on Valentine's Day, I can't complain.
I work in a London banking office. Long hours are the norm and I've never noticed any sort of Valentine's Day exodus before but, yesterday at 5pm, when the office would still usually be very busy, the office was fairly spartan due to people going out to celebrate Valentine's Day with their spouse / partner / whatever.

So, on the spur of the moment, my work colleague and I decided to go out on a date together. When I say a "date", it was totally platonic and totally for laughs and smiles .... nothing more. She's 15 years younger than I am, 15 times more attractive and got 15 times more Valentines Cards .... that said, her's were e-cards whereas at least mine was real

Anyway, it was totally just to laugh with each other over being SAD (how terrible to called something Single Awareness Day) but it was actually really fun and I came into work this work with a spring in my step as a result.
