goooooood morning Pllllaaaaaaanet ! .. i just randomly checked my paycheck account online ( my company uses paperless pay)..and i'll be dammed.. i got a raise !!... a dollar more an hour .. SWEEEEEEEEET !!!!.. it's awesome to have something good happen at the end of the month when the beginning so totally sucked.. i've also been given a glimpse of the Wisdom and Love of the Great Mother and how She balances the negative/positive..for 2.5 years i had a post in downtown PDX i just loathed.. i hated going to work and it colored every other aspect of my life... at the beginning of December i was assaulted while on patrol ( no surprise..i knew it was going to happen sooner or later..it was that kind of post)... of course i believed i'd finally come to rest at the bottom of the barrel where i would rot forevermore..but my assault suddenly seemed to galvanize the Powers That Be in the office.. the next week i was offered the post i'd wanted all along..my Dream Post that i have now ( and where i intend to stay until i retire in 13 years).. it's made a world of difference.. something as simple as being happy every time i get in the MiddleAgeMobile and drive the 5 minutes to work.. and now a raise after only 3 months !!..the Great Mother knew i would need one dream to come true ( work) because another dream ( relationship) was coming to an end.. i can't imagine how much worse breaking up/moving out would have been if i still had that crap post... so now i'm thinking 2013 might turn out much better than i thought..so i post 2 versions of Olivia newton John's " Magic " ( remix for the energy,original because..she's just so damm ...)..anyway.. " Magic " is my theme song ..has been since the first time i heard it in..78..79?..sorry i think i'm babbling..but it feels so good to..finally feel good.. and my wish for each and all of you is that feeling fucking amazing is a part of yer day as well..and HELL YES i believe we are magic..
