I just got my hair cut. It was really long. (it's still long by most people's standards.) I've put myself through this several times before. I think that a guy having long hair is _________ fill in the blank with what ever negative rationale you can think of. The latest thing is the age thing. So I went to
a friend that is a stylist and she cut my hair. She did a really good job. And even though I tried to psych myself up for this, pre-grief and all, I'm kinda sad that I did it. After I had it cut I saw several men older than me with long hair, including one guy with white hair.

So I'm sad that I bought into the whole 'you're too old for this' crap.... :-(
