Met with a group of Year 6 kids today (12 years old). First thing they did was salam me (press the back of my palm to their forehead)  a sign of respect. Then I went through a poem with them that they are going to learn for choral competitions. Last year they came second in the District competitions. This year they want to be placed first.
Such a lovely bunch of kids.
