I also asked a friend of mine who is a university professor and he had mixed feelings as well
Well I brought the Article to my communications professor and she agreed the opening sentence was not necessary for the point of the article but it's not so severe since in context the comparison was genuine to say sometimes once taboo things become law others may too, it was just a irritating example I AGREE ACTUALLY NOW THAT I AM CALMER
