I miss getting up at 7am on summer days playing whiffle ball , football, kick the can , king of the mountain .
I miss flashlight tag on summer nights .
I miss riding my mini 50 cycle haha as a kid.
I miss July nights lighting Roman candles , crab apple fights .
I miss the secret clubhouse my brother and I and our buddies made out in the woods .
I miss the woods where the creeks and caves were.
I miss playing ninjas and throwing around our dull ninja stars we used to get at the flea markets haha .
Gosh its awesome talking to childhood friends and conversing about our childhood we had and the fun carefree times . Its like it was only a week ago yet its been sooooo much longer .
I look at my nephews and their childhood is filled with video games , fancy toys , having to stay in a suburb house filled neighborhood not being able to venture off bc you can't trust anything or anyone and its sad in a way .
I wonder when they are my age late 30s what they will miss as youngins??? Missing video games ???
Crazy how big city and country lives are for kids and generations of recreational activities change for youngins.
