Memories of our outing yesterday
We decided to take a day trip rather than go longer; I had an early doctor's appointment today, and it made no sense to rush around when the point of the venture was to relax.
We spent the day out on Martha's Vineyard. Teddy had never been and I hadn't been there in nearly 20 years. We had a lovely day just meandering all over the island. We walked everywhere, saw lovely ocean views and breathed in the sea air.
The architecture there is enough reason on its own to go, but we found so many lovely things to do now and in future visits. I even got to collect some nice shells...
Another visit will be in order since many places were still closed due to the season. Most distressing of which was the lack of ice cream shops and salt water taffy purveyors!
