They do work pretty good.... until humans came and started egg collection, fisheries bycatch, habitat destruction (even something as simple as leaving porch lights on during nesting/hatch season) and I could go on and on. The Leatherback Turtle is now on the critically endangered list. Very sad....
Thanks for posting the cool pictures as it is a good reminder how we can impact a species, intentionally or not.
