Today was the first day of May,
and my day was spent mostly here at home:

I baked some cookies, made a dish of pasta for supper tonight,
spent the better part of the day exchanging emails with a potential
employer, and I just watched the sun go down.... leaving a beautiful
haze of pinks, purples and streaks of deep oranges against an almost
indigo shade of late evening sky. I can even see the first star of the night, right now.
I listened to a lot of music today, too and just finished my day by listening to:
This Mortal Coil's cover of Song to the Siren
(my favorite version of this song, ever).
