1) Ravelry is yarn/knitting porn! And I love it!

Ha, have you discovered knitting podcasts who have knit a longs and have contests and prizes? My prize total so far this year is over 120 dollars. Mostly winning patterns of my choice, a few skeins of yarn and stitch markers!

There are knitting podcasts for everyone's tastes. These are some of my favorites that can be found on their blogs, itunes, or on ravelry

knit spin farm
the fat squirrel speaks
the stockenette zombies
the knit girllls (3 L's)
yarnivore
knitting in circles
dramatic knits
knitting in cirlces
twisted strands

I am making this turtle in orange and green

along with 3 shawls on the needles, another toy, a pair of socks and a cowl.

2) I'm on the 13th washcloth and I'm already tired of this project. I have 62 more wascloths to make.

3) I'm hoping my "sisters of the yarn" will tell me about their projects to help distract me

So everybody what are you working on??
