Good Morning Lofters and Peekers!!

Thank you Nadeest, the artsy finishes are a no brainer for me, the hold it up part is what throws me. So here's what I'm gonna do until I can do it with something more sturdy.

1x2 along the indent over the windows

1x3 vertical length of the windows

2x3 across the intersection of the 2 strips vertically

now there is almost a 3 inch gap created.

now i will staple heavy canvas to stripping (8 ft), exact width of ceiling surface

lay the insulation inside canvas cavity,

attach ends of furring strips to 2x3 pieces

staple canvas to wood for leakage prevention

canvas is now giant painting waiting to happen!!!

I can do the same to the lower walls, etc. I think it will work.

The hard part is preventing the girls from using it as a jungle gym.

Note to self: trim their nails pronto.

Okay. Back to drilling holes in 1x3 pieces. Wish me

Back to Home Depot.....
