I have a bad habit of impulse buying whole albums on itunes after falling in love with a single track.... and then finding myself disappointed with the album as a whole.

Recent-ish examples

*Bat for Lashes, 'Fur and Gold' and 'Two Suns': I bought not one but TWO albums, because I loved the lo-fi, alterna-electronic sound of a track or two. But as it turns out I don't care for either album and I can't even figure out which tracks I liked before I bought the albums.

*Florence + the Machine, 'Lungs': I know this may be sacrilegious to some, I love about 2 of her tracks and the rest of the album makes me.. "meh"

*Joshua Radin, "Live from iTunes session": was very boring.

I've been trying to curb this habit lately. BUT.... I did just buy an AWESOME whole album: Laura Mvula, 'Sing to the Moon'.

Give me your three best album purchases, in the past couple of years.
