after an extremely bad day yesterdaywas treated to the most beautiful thing. After taking Alix to work I came home to find that our neighbors who moved out had indeed left their sweet little black kitten. It was hovering on a wet doorstep waiting to be let in. One person is still there but he refuses to let the poor kitty in.

So I had an idea. I went to the closet and got Peppas old dog crate and put it together without the door. Added two warm towels inside and covered with a folded sheet to keep the damp out. Set a small bowl of milk by it.

After only a few seconds the kitty came over to drink the milk. Then she sniffed around the crate and finally walked in. After about a min she stuck her head out to finishh drinking the milk then went back inside.

It warmed my heart so much that such a simple thing as an old dog crate and some old towels can make a huge difference. I smiled as I gentle closed the door and went inside my warm apt to my pups
