But first we need some terms for clarification. Are we
grilling or
barbecuing?
One grills steaks, pork chops, hamburgers, seafood, tofu, veggies, etc. (the latter two being known as the lower food groups)
One barbecues whole hog, shoulders, brisket, ribs and the stray chicken.
I am quite confident in my skills in either arena so choose your weapon wisely.
If we BBQ then I will insist on the usual judging standards of "Appearance (to break down into bark, smoke ring, meat), Tenderness, Taste/Flavor (meat judged separately from sauce/rub) and Overall Impression."
Unless you were on the Oklahoma "Slaughterhouse 5" team that took Kansas City by storm (Oklahoma Joe's) then I'm not scared one bit.
There are many other details to consider, time/place/judges, but I will let you marinate on it and get back to us.
The big question is you challenged as "a bet" which means there must be terms for the loser. I propose should you lose that you must do the following;
1. You must pet a cat for 10 seconds (be strong, think of bull riders).
2. You must also find a "good" forever home for one of Wolfy's stray kitties.
(Definition of "good forever home" to be defined by Wolfy.)
