tomboystud---How exciting! I wish I could help on the "how do I look older, I appear so young" dilemma but sadly at 47 it is no longer a question I have to ask myself!  If you are doing a casual lunch (outdoor cafe?) and as you have known one another 10 years (If I read that right?) then maybe a nice pair of shorts (not cargo or jean) and a nice button down shirt or polo? It seems from the stores and fashion mags. bright colors/seersucker shirts are coming back in style. But, I'm femme so a sundress and sandals work for me, I'll let others weigh in on the fashion questions. The main thing is to be yourself, relax and have fun! (and if lunch goes well a walk in a park and ice cream cones later wouldn't be amiss....)
