We went to a wedding today. It was for my son's fiancee's dad who is a long time friend of Ethan. The wedding was held in a beautiful little plantation, and it was the shortest ceremony i have ever seen, but it was really nice. After the ceremony we went to the reception where there was good food and good fellowship. They had the Bride's and Groom's first dance, then the Bride danced with her Dad. She is a lil petite thing, and when she danced with her dad, she kicked her shoes off and climbed upon his feet as they danced. i thought that was precious. There was the other normal festivities and cake cutting and stuff buttttt
The biggest thing that put a smile on my face was.. during an open slow dance, Ethan took my hand and led me to a spot while in his wheel chair, stood up and grabbed ahold of me, and we danced. We danced for most of the song before he had to sit down. but.. we.. danced! First time in public.
