I would suggest that we do it this way again. Otherwise, new wranglers, new participants, and new projects can get pushed back two to three months.

2 cents from one who has been late in the past
I have a few thoughts to add to Tommi's .... first of all, and, possibly due to the previous project going way past its close date, the minute this project was posted IT FILLED UP. I'm thinking that perhaps we need a few days to 'think about' whether or not we really have the time/supplies to do the project. This would involve posting the project and a few days later begin to sign up. I sense that we were all so excited/desperate to participate that we simply signed up.

For me, one of the first considerations were the due dates - they really worked well for me. I wasn't so sure about the actual project but I spent time researching it and thought 'yes I can'.

I eventually picked up the supplies (I bought a couple of sheets of watercolour papers, cheap kids watercolours, a fine-tipped black marker, and embellishments) and let them sit there for two weeks.

Finally, someone posted that they were mailing theirs so I realized I needed to really focus on the ATCs. Truly, 'I went to town' and I was done in one evening including making a few samples to 'get the hang of it' (my cards are VERY simple).

I really like the concept of our wrangled projects ..... it gives those participating a goal, something to look forward to, joy, creative outlet ..... but, it can also become an added pressure as the due date comes around.

Thoughts???
