"Jeremiah was a bullfrog" IS the right lyric...isn't it?

As for me, it's Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London"

From childhood, my best friend and I both heard, "...and his hair was purple".

We were in our 20's and riding in a car with friend's husband when that song came on. We sang the "purple" line and the husband laughed himself silly. The correct lyric? "...and his hair was perfect".

I don't care. I still hear "purple".
