1. What can you do today that you were not capable of a year ago?
Play a native American flute and speak a few words of Spanish.
2. What's been on your mind most lately?
Endings, ending my course, my job, a whole load of endings.

Love, happiness, health, money, fame.
4. Right now, at this moment, what do you want most?
To find somewhere to live, ideally exactly like the cottage I'm in now, just 50 miles north of here.
5. What word best describes the way you’ve spent the last month of your life?
Passionately loving someone who couldn't see me properly.
6. What is the #1 motivator in your life right now?
Gaining my PhD.

Allowing people to know me and getting to know them.

My family and friends.

I'll be in a different job, living in a different place, so many changes I can hardly think of them all. *gulp*

Yesterday it was my good friends Kate and Jo, my work pals June and Sandra, my supervisor Moira.

Some quirky strangeness, shared interests, integrity.
13.What has fear of failure stopped you from doing?
Travelling.
14. What is something you have always wanted since you were a kid?
To have my dad back in my life.

Nothing, I've got it.
16. What do you do when nothing else seems to make you happy?
I play loud music and jump around.
17. When did you first realize that life is short?
Working in a hospice 7-8 years ago, meeting so many people at the end of their lives.

Daydreaming, gardening, cuddling my cat.

My choice of partners.

Take their children for granted.

That sometimes because I don't get upset, I don't care. I do care, deeply.

My life experiences.

Coffee.

I'd like to say something deep and meaningful here but really, it's my 18 year old skin.

Watching my pal's daughter in a hopping race at school sport's day. She was awesome.

Quit smoking.

Improved relationships with my family.

That I'm much stronger and more resilient than I thought. Who knew?

Every single time of shared music making.

Bullies, people who shout and belittle.

That everything's ok.
33. If you had the opportunity to get a message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?
That animals experience emotions and attachment relationships just like we do, that they deserve respect and compassion, that when we torture, destroy and then eat them, it takes something important away from us too. Enough said.

I can't remember ever saying never, must have done at some point, hmmm, I don't know.
35. What’s something you changed your mind about when you grew older?
That it's ok to make a fool of yourself.

My civil partnership.

You're good enough.

I'd sing a song along with Sarah Vaughan, probably some old jazz standard, any one would do.

I have no idea but I doubt it, I can be a bit quiet.
