[Genesis]

So someone hurt you or was dishonest ?
Don't harden your heart
Don't sell your beauty so cheaply
Your heart is singing a melody
That your soul already knows
And your brain longs to remember
You can hear it in the quiet pauses
That life offers you, the moments that
make you stop and look around and within
till finally, the two join and are one
The birds hear it and sing of its beauty for you
and the flower knows it and gives itself,
its scent, till it dies with a smile. It's lone hope
is for you to pause and acknowledge its offering
and maybe, listen to your heart for a moment
and hear and then, give of yourself
and become beautiful
