Yes, slipper socks have different rules as they are really 'house shoes' and should be treated accordingly.

BUT

They should never go outside, no matter how close the garbage is or how dry the ground is.

OMG, me too! Exactly. Now, we're broken toe twins. Mine looked like a little eggplant, all swollen and purple and squished. I still have the pics cuz it's nice to be reminded how far I've come 'n stuff.

I broke mine on a metal bed railing.

The bruising went alllll the way up the front of my foot too, to be covered by cute socks of course.
