What are peds? Peds is a brand name for what is called a footlet. I don't know who would call them that or even why. It makes no sense. Footlet. Now that angers me a bit. I guess I'm not very peaceable myself. But seriously what is a footlet? Why would someone name something that. A socklet perhaps, but a footlet?
The little hard plastic things on the end of shoelaces are called aglets (sometimes spelled aiglets).

What?

What do you expect when you come at me with useless trivia?

It's on like Donkey Kong!

Also, speaking of DK, the music that plays during the first stage in Donkey Kong Country, in the level called "Jungle Hijinx", is actually three demo tracks pieced together.

Maybe it's called a footlet cuz it LETS the FOOT do something for which I do not know?

You know, the definition of footlet is: 'a low sock for women covering either the whole foot below the ankle or only the toes, worn for protection or warmth'. So, that means all socks that rest beneath the ankle are footlets.

Hmmm....
