Default

wearing:
wool socks on feets,
two pairs of yoga leggings
soft tee under two sweaters
snuggly micro-fleece jacket
scarf wrapped aroung my neck
a stretchy, fleecy earmuffs thingy
encircling my head (to keep ears warm)

eating:
-0-

drinking:
I'm on my 2nd cup of hot chocolate
(the 'hot' version, made with hot chili pepper kernels, organic dark sugar crystals & cinnamon)

listening to:
The Jan Lundgren TRio

smell like:
my bubble bath from last night
(Dr Teals Lavender Bath Salts and Bubble Bath syrup)

thinking:
unfortunately, it's about that darned power company:
Why oh why is their price for electricity so steep?
I just found their bill in my mailbox today.
I keep the house heated to only 59 degrees, during the winter,
and wear extra clothing to keep warm, just to avoid bills like
the one I got for the month of December. I even have energy
saver appliances. The windows are sealed. One goal next year
is to find a way to stay warm without financially
supporting their power grid.

-weather haiku-
today's high is 25
tonight is bitterly cold
above zero, +7

quote for today:
"Far away, there in the sunshine, are my highest aspirations.
I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty,
believe in them, and try to follow where they lead," ~ Louisa May Alcott
today's smile:
<<~~I'm wearing the 'lazy Sunday smile' today

leaving for:
to hang tight here for a bit and read forum board posts;
then retire to the kitchen to practice using the new oven.
I might make something entirely yummy for supper, maybe
even bake a cake (German Chocolate Coconut Cake)
