Depends on where the sausage and bacon is from. Generally I would prefer outdoor reared, 'free-range, organic bacon (but only in UK, bacon elsewhere is not so nice)
Would you rather have a long-term, chronic illness or a short-term terminal one? (a bit bleak I know but hey...)
