me mate's partner has been off work about a month wit' a bum knee, hurt it playin' soccer. all his co-workers have been pickin' up his workload whilst he's been off.

he was in our office yesterday, as was one of his colleagues. she was askin' him if he could cover some hours on boxing day and new years day as she has family comin' in and would like to spend time wit' them.

he doesn't even stop to consider it, simply blurts out "nope, it's a holiday." i couldn't keep me mouth shut, said "well, you're a real team player."

again, ungrateful bastid...
