Black puddin' is blood sausage and delish (especially the ones from Bury Market)...fried bread is exactly as it implies. Arteries are clogged and hips widened just cooking it! 
False, don't think I've seen any in the last few years. Slumdog Millionaire in 2008 was probably the last.
