well, last night the frozen lasagna ended up being the winner. So tonight, I'm cooking an actual meal... ok, the crockpot is doing most of the work 
Pot roast with a brown mushroom gravy
red potatoes
and either corn on the cob or a broccoli/cauliflower mix
