Yes. I used it for my profile. My maternal grandmother used to recite it to me. And of course many others. Way back in the day children were taught to use their memory using poetry. They don't do that anymore ... such a shame.
I memorized nursery rhymes for my children. lol, they still remember them!
This poem is my all time favorite.
