It was late and I was in the mood for something decadent but everything I have at home looked so healthy and boring, and it was too close to bed time to order out. I managed to scrounge up some old annoyingly healthy pancake mix and syrup. The pancakes ended up not being what I'd hoped for, but bad pancakes are like bad sex -- still pretty good! BB wasn't eating dinner because hy had a stomach ache tonight and kept saying, "You're torturing me with those pancakes! They smell so good!" I kept saying, "Trust me, they're not so good!" Anything being fried usually smells delicious
