It is such a mistake to assume that practising dharma will help us calm down and lead an untroubled life; nothing could be further from the truth. Dharma is not a therapy. I'm going to need to ruminate on this one for a little while - not sure how I feel about what he is stating here, though I do acknowledge at least some truth inherent in it.
