A huge bull frog singing and croaking on the porch all morning ..

a fancy neat box turtle looking as if to say "hey!! Who flooded my mud puddle !!?"

The rain soaking the garden just in time to help the new beans...

My roommate calling me from the drive lane to say "stay in the house till this big rain passes, then we can leave"... my response "it's been raining like this for 2 hours. I don't think its moving through fast ." I chuckled because he's either looking out for me or he just didn't wanna get wet.

Once in town with it still pouring rain...he stops at store, gives me money and says "go pay my bill for me"... I laugh and say " You're making me do this because I'm the only one with a rain coat!"... his response "something like that".
