a lady had left her purse sitting on the curb lastnight i just happen to see it and put it in my drawer in my desk.. after looking for id.. she didn't have it in there... but i knew who's it was..

she was sitting at my door this morning.. crying.. i handed it to her and she couldn't stop hugging me.. tried to give me money for finding it but knowing it was for her daughters bday i refused it.. said.. put it where it belongs.. with your baby...

she said do you always pay it forward? i smiled.. said yes Ma'am.. i don't like that bad karma..

as she left.. she said You are a blessed woman.. most people would have taken the money and just ditched the rest..

again i smiled and said.. that's not me..

being able to give this woman back her money and her childs birthday.. was the biggest smile that could have been given to me today... i know what it was like raising my 2 on my own...
