Not tonight ... too stressed to eat ... about a half mile from home when I left work, topped a hill at about 75 m.p.h. and my truck lost all power ... thankfully I did not have to dodge in and out of traffic (none around me) ...
got off the blvd onto a service road and glided into the Kia dealership in an out of the way spot ... then the fun started ... tow service said they would be there in 45 minutes ... ended up being almost 2 hours ... back and forth on the phone with their dispatcher ... the heat is what caused me to blow my fuse ... clothes were soaking wet all the way to my draws and socks ... Cille came to see about me, follow the wrecker and drive me home ... Carol is picking me up at 6:15 to drop me off at the repair business ... I forgot to hide the keys for Anthony to begin repair at 6:50 a.m. ...
and this really iced the cake ... the late wrecker driver wanted me to crawl up on the flatbed, get into my truck, give him the mileage - he already had the damn thing up there, tied, secure and ready to go. I told him I had sweated my khakis to the soaked point, they were too stuck to my legs for any acrobatic maneuvers and we'd get it after he unloaded it at the repair place. I wasn't very nice at all.

He didn' t say he was sorry for being so late or provide any "excuse" about why his dispatcher couldn' t reach him. And waits until he has my vehicle loaded to ask for mileage. WTF????
I realize this is the food thread ... thanks for allowing me to rant. I needed to get that out.
Tomorrow will be an excellent day I believe.
