Aw! Thanks all!
It's my 45th and I'm stuck studying for a while, till late afternoon, after my bday breakfast of egg & chips and vanilla latte.
My oldest friend (32 years) has been diagnosed with brain cancer so I'm going to go hang out with him. Tonight, a few close mates are gathering at a friend's and making me a roast and gin & tonics. I have an exam on Monday so I can't get soused, but I am very, very grateful I have friends that will make me a dinner and drinks for my birthday.
This is my second birthday having to study. In two more birthdays, I'll have passed the medical board exams, qualified and licensed and been working for a bit so I hope to celebrate it in proper style, with no homework!!!!!
