i spent a day in boone, nc. i went to uni there many moons ago. but as i jus' had a mini reunion wit' some folks i schooled there wit', i thought a day trip was in order. (it's only 2 hours from where i'm stayin' wit' me sistah)

i enjoyed myself immensely. a lot o' new, a bit o' old. and beautimus mountains on the blue ridge parkway.

i had lunch at a place i had lunch at (many, many times) 30+ years ago, and it was jus' as good, maybe bettah...
