Hi Canela,
It is just like lemon ice but I use grapefruit instead
1 cup of water
2 cups of sugar (I use a Splenda sugar 50/50 mix)
2 cups of grapefruit juice (I buy 3-4 of the pink ones and juice them myself)
1 T Grand Marnier
1 T lime juice
Pinch of salt

Make a simple syrup with the sugar and water (cook together with low heat until the sugar is dissolved)
Remove from heat and stir in the other ingredients

Place in a bowl in the freezer, stir every 30 min until it becomes the desired consistency (usually it takes about 2-3 hours depending on the size of the bowl and the coldness of your freezer)

If you have an ice cream maker you can do that rather than the more work intensive stir every 30 min.

By the way the every 30 min isn't exact I just sort of wander into the kitchen every little while and stir it.

You do need to do the stirring step though, whether the ice cream maker does of for you or you do it yourself, it breaks up the ice crystals and makes a better finished result

You can make ahead for a party or for left overs, store in freezer, put in fridge 20 min before serving to get a good consistency.
