I have made great strides to overcome some of my self esteem issues, and I'm not afraid to share what makes me feel good.
Being loved and respected by some dang good, loyal, wildly funny friends.
Knowing I am at home in their house, even for short visits.
"FAMILY STYLE DINNER" with said friends/ chosen family...and the laughter that filled the room...
Confidence in the fact that I will never allow anyone to isolate and alienate me from my friends or family ever again...they are important to me for a reason. I won't give them up for all the money in the world, empty promises or temporary infatuations.
Knowing that my happiness is mine to take charge of, not depending on another to "make me happy" or depending on their attention to be my soul reason for happiness.
Going barefoot on the beach, breathing in fresh air and smiling at how far I've come since early February.
Feeling empowered and sexy....
