LOL...I think it went like this:
Her: Do we have dishes?
Me: Huh? (thinking why is she asking about fishes?)
Her: Do we have dishes, up at the cabin?
ME : Honey, of course we have Fishes...they're in the river
(still thinking..why is she asking such an insane question?)
Her: Huh?
(she's thinking, why are dishes in the river?)
Me: THEY'RE IN THE RIVER ..where else would they be babe?
HER: What are you talking about?
Me: the fishes..you wanted to know if theres fish in the river... you packing your fishing pole?
Her: plates...plates...plates !!! ...do we have DISHES at the cabin !!!
and at this point I am utterly beside myself with gales of laughter because it took us 15 mins to figure it out!
