Seeing both ducks and gulls alike swimming around and swishing their tail feathers in the newly flooded low-lying areas around the city. They were a little pop of joy in an otherwise grey and rainy day.
Also, how fresh and clean the air now smells in my normally industrially-scented city... What a welcome change! It does not feel like December at all!
